Note: Many of you may be wondering why I am drawing the basic cross outline for my many current drawings. It is because my goal is to draw one drawing a day which started off with graphite pencils and colored pencils which led up to using markers which is what I am mainly using now, but that could change in the future for this year.
With anything regarding the brain and muscles, a person must practice over and over and over again countless times to get better and to be more creative which is what I am doing every day this year with the current basic cross outline as a starting point. Of course, I will probably change from the basic cross to something else sometime in the future this year.
But as you can see, each one is different in one way or another and so are the colors. Plus I learned that when the brain is drawing one way, like drawing a face or a tree or nude body, it is operating differently than when it draws an abstract drawing with colors because the brain is not focusing on everyday stuff to draw, but on completely different stuff to draw which is topped off when the brain is drawing in pure colors which is what I am doing currently.
So there are creative and logical parts of the brain and mind that work when drawing 'made up' pictures or images with colors compared to drawing by copy drawing which many 'artists' do and which some artists do really good I might add.
Moreover, I could actually feel my brain changing when I started to draw the basic cross outline with various differences and colors than when I was drawing by copy drawing, like drawing from a picture or photo or whatever. In any case, I hope you all enjoy viewing and looking at my artwork. Who knows, maybe one day they will be hanging in a museum somewhere in a big city.
