When are school shootings and murders going to stop?

Gun control or unlimited gun freedoms.

How can such an American paradoxical issue be solved when many people want to buy and own a gun to protect themselves from violent criminals, teenagers and adults alike, and at the same time, mass shootings continue to happen in American schools?

“Do not kill.” is one of the ten commandments, yet no child or teenager who is in any one of America’s schools is safe from being murdered by mentally deranged people has access to guns, a handgun or pistol or a rifle or both.

“What does the 2nd Amendment mean in simple terms?

“The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.” (Taken off the web.)

The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution protects the right to keep and bear arms. It was ratified on December 15, 1791, along with nine other articles of the Bill of Rights. (Wikipedia.)

Both the biblical commandment, “Do not kill.” and the Second Amendment of the US Constitution are very complex issues and problems, that is for sure.

How can a biblical (Bible) law and American law, ‘Do not kill,’ and the Second Amendment of the US Constitution that allows Americans to own and carry guns, rifles, etc., be reconciled when they are at both the extreme ends of American life and civilization?

“Cain murdered his brother, and he went out into the land of Nod.” Or nothingness.

Americans and people all around the globe have again witnessed another episode of a criminally violent attack by a teenager who murdered innocent, helpless, defenseless children and adults by slaughtering them with his rifle, in this case an AR-15 rifle that his dad gave to him as a gift.

I have read that soldiers used to pick up the AR-15 rifle from dead soldiers in Vietnam during the Vietnam War because it was a more dependable rifle than the rifles that the American soldiers were forced to use.

On May 25, 2022, my mind started to change its opinion about absolute freedom and gun control when the news on Fox and CNN started to broadcast news about the 19 children and two teachers who were slaughtered like cows in a high school.

I was watching the news when “at least 19 children and two teachers were killed Tuesday when a gunman opened fire in a Texas elementary school, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.”

Three days later it was still on the news, and I could not take it anymore. I called up Xfinity and I told them I did not want to pay over $200 for a tv box with over 200 channels that I rarely used, and when I did use it, there was still news about mass school shootings, for three days.

The 21 people killed by an 18-year male were legally adults, but not really from the viewpoint of neural (brain) science which has stated that the human brain is not an adult until about the age 24, the age long after many young people go into the military and learn to kill for their country. And learn to shoot a gun and rifle.

Now, on September 4, 2022, a 14-year-old male teenager decided to shoot, kill-murder helpless, defenseless, and innocent human beings, young and old with an AR-15-style rifle that his dad gave to him as a gift.

Wow.

What was his dad thinking at the moment he handed over an AR-15 rifle to his 14-year-old teenager?

My dad would have never handed over an AR-15 rifle to me. And he was an ex-Army guy although I don't know how many times he used a gun or a rifle in his eight years in the military.

Up until that moment in American history when the news stations were flashing the numbers 19 children and 2 adults had been murdered while the police who train with all sorts of guns and rifles and other weapons stood outside the school waiting for the shooter to kill himself, while the innocent, defenseless, and helpless children and teachers waited for help by the police.

The chicken shit cops who confess to themselves that they are the most badass people in America when they also attack defenseless, helpless, and innocent American civilians when they are on the job.

Maybe those police officers were relating to the shooter in the school on a subconscious level of psychological existence because both the shooter in the school and some cops love shooting innocent, defenseless, and helpless people in America.

I was all for gun freedom versus gun control. But now I am not so sure. There are a lot of gun laws and there are a lot of ways to carry a gun too.

In the county where I live, I looked up what it takes to get a CCW or a carry permit to carry a concealed gun. There are a lot of steps to obtaining a carry concealed gun permit. It seemed like a smart number of steps for a person who wanted to carry a concealed pistol. There was a lot to learn about it for the newbie.

I had a carry permit when I lived in New York long ago. I used it for security work that was sometimes very dangerous, and for which I got paid a lot of money too.

I never had the psychological urge to kill another human being. I never possessed one thought within my mind telling me that I should be famous for a few days by simply shooting and murdering defenseless, helpless, and innocent human beings.

I was never that psychologically deranged mentally to shoot at and murder people because my brain and mind were not psychologically deranged killers, like a lot of criminally minded teenagers and adults.

What about all of the other violent people in America, from New York City to California? Especially those people who are illegal immigrants?

As Trump has stated many times. Some of these illegal immigrants have blood in their eyes from the moment they cross the border and cross over into America to the moment they commit violent, criminal acts towards innocent, defenseless, and helpless Americans who only want to live their lives in peace and harmony.

What is the mental and psychological internal nature of violent teenagers and adults alike, in Americans, immigrants, and terrorists overseas on other lands, nations, and countries?

Is there a common mental and psychological denominator within the human brains and minds of those violent human beings who have no problem with murdering other human beings?

You bet there is. But during human history, there have been countless bloody battles where human beings have slaughtered other human beings with no sense of guilt.

How many wars during human history have been up close when the eyeballs of two soldiers could see each other as they used swords, knives, guns, and rifles to slaughter each other, usually before some of them got a chance to live a nice life as an adult?

What a way to live on Earth.

Truthfully, a lot of men and ladies too, like to kill other human beings. What is it that causes such mental and psychological urges, a sense of joy, a life purpose to kill other human beings?

I have to admit, something is very wrong in America, in the land of the free and the home of the brave, when almost anyone can obtain a handgun or a rifle and then be free to walk into a school building and slaughter helpless, defenseless, and innocent children and adults with bullets flying through the air instead of teacher’s words flying through the air.

Therefore, whether it is teenagers with extreme criminally violent mental health problems that cause enough anger and hate to become murderers in a flash by shooting helpless, defenseless, and innocent children in a school setting, or whether it is a grown-up with the same mental health problems, it has to be plainly stated that the cause is an evil-minded human being who has flipped his brain and mind over to the dark side of their personal existence.

There is not an evil thing out there like a lot of Christians like to believe for their religious purposes. But there is evil within the minds of human beings. Sure, there are a lot of psychological words to describe the different mental states and causes within the human brain and mind to allow any human being to flip off the guilty switch, or have a good conscience, to make the correct decision to not commit mass murders in a school setting.

Some, maybe most people will never let their gun freedoms go away peacefully. But that being stated, there has to be a point in America where people are not allowed to obtain guns and rifles so freely so they or other people can easily kill, murder, or slaughter helpless, defenseless, and innocent children who are attaining school to learn reading, writing, and mathematics, etc.

The problem is that who knows who is going to go off the psychological deep end and lose control of their minds?

What is more important to the people and citizens of America; having gun freedom, or having its schools safe for children to learn to read, write, and do mathematics without fear that maybe their last day in school will be their last day on planet Earth?

It is probably too late to change the current situation in America regarding guns in general because there are just way too many guns and rifles in every home, town, and city.

Plus, people like their guns and rifles, etc. Some people have valid reasons for wanting a gun, shotgun, or rifle, among the endless styles of killing weapons.

A gun or a rifle in the hands of some people makes them feel good, like holding a hammer to pound a nail into the wood for some reason, like building a house..

American history has been a land where some people believe that they would rather die with a gun in one hand, and a Bible in the other hand than be alive at all.

Of course, during American history, that is all some people had in their hands, or possession, a gun and/or a rifle and a Bible as they traveled from the East Coast to the West Coast.

But that was during a different period. Now, we are living in a different period where most people don’t need a gun and/or a rifle for the same reasons that existed before the modern-day era.

Furthermore, most people do not care about the Bible like they once did, but if they do care about the Bible, they probably do not carry it at all times like they would carry a handgun.

Some people would rather have a gun, on a side holster or in a purse. They want a gun for self-protection, both inside the home and outside the home because there are still very violent, mentally disturbed teenagers and adults alike who enjoy committing acts of violence against innocent, helpless, and defenseless American citizens.

What about comparing America’s school shooting problem with other nations?

So, here is the question that most religious Christian people have not asked themselves lately or ever during the 2000 reign of Christianity, which by the way has taken on many different forms by various peoples depending on what nation or country where they were living in and who was the bishop during the specific period.

Christianity has also taken on many different beliefs, practices, and wordy rituals too, also depending on the specific bishops and time periods.

I started to study, read, and research the history of Christianity for many reasons, one of which is that I have a sister who once told me that she was a Christian.

My brain and mind paused for a second and I realized that she did not know what she was talking about like so many other so-called wordy Christians who know nothing about the Christian religion or the history of it, yet they consider themselves Christians to other people.

Anyway, the main question for this essay is this, ‘Are bad, violent, criminal, and murderous teenagers and adults alike made in the image and likeness of God?

Or are they simply biological human creatures with hardwired human brains and screwed up soft-wired human minds who are so poorly raised by their parents, the society that they live in, and the state and nation they live in during the specific period they are alive?

It seems that the laws of the land, the court system, the judges, and even the police do nothing at all about stopping teenagers of any age, in any nation, or society from committing crimes, especially violent crimes against helpless, defenseless, and innocent human beings.

This problem and issue are not only in a specific town or a specific state like California because it happens in whatever state where criminally violent-minded teenagers and adults are living.

This problem and issue are not only in a specific nation or country because teenage criminal violent crimes happen in other nations and countries too, but American news stations just love a good violent story of murder and the slaughter of helpless, innocent, and defenseless human beings.

Let us all watch evil murderous human beings, for fun. Heck, we watch movies that have it to watch, and we pay for it too.

For the sake of argument, we can assume that just maybe the issue and problem of teenage violent criminal crime and behavior could happen in many nations and counties because of the nature of the hardwired human brain and the soft-wired human mind and consciousness.

But not in all nations and countries. Some nations and countries have little or no violent crime like teenagers or adults going to school to murder and slaughter innocent, defenseless, and helpless children and adults.

A school should be considered a holy place, a safe place for children and the teachers who are with them all day long. Hire trained cops to be there instead of handing out parking and speeding tickets.

Oh, that is correct. Handing out parking and speeding tickets brings money into the city's bank accounts. Why waste money on protecting school children and teachers if they die, no money is wasted on them, nor will the dead people bring money into the city's bank accounts.

The underlying issue is whether the human species, including human teenagers, are made in the image and likeness of God, Spirit.

Or are they simply a biological series of very long, hundreds of millions of biological evolution and development that started with the first cell in a pond somewhere, which led up to the first fish walking on dry land, which developed up to the caveman and cavewoman, up to the moment where the human species is currently situated.

Of course, other questions need to be raised and addressed too.

Like, ‘What is American society, American parents, and even the churches doing to allow this violent criminally minded teenager to proceed with their criminal behavior or at least their anti-social behavior which could lead to teenagers murdering other teenagers with a knife, gun, are an AR-47 rifle that is meant for war.

America was built with people, even teenagers, holding a gun and a rifle for hunting and survival as they traveled from the East Coast to the West Coast.

Guns and rifles were used for hunting and self-defense, especially from wild animals like "lions, tigers, bears, oh my!" And even smaller animals that know how to bite and kill for food or out of fear.

The main point is that teenagers and adults have been taught to be able to point a gun or a rifle and pull the trigger to kill another living creature, whether for bad or good.

Overseas, in other nations and countries, teenagers are raised by their violent criminally minded parents to also point a gun or a rifle to pull the trigger to kill another living human being, more than likely an American soldier who is located in their nation or country for whatever reason.

But even in other nations and countries, teenagers are also trained to point and pull the trigger of a gun or a rifle against people who also live in their town, country, or nation.

Whether for religious, political, social, or economic reasons, guns and rifles are used by adults and teenagers in the same fashion, point the gun or rifle at another living human being, and pull the trigger.

It is a very easy thing to do. I have pulled a few triggers during my life. I am good at pointing a gun and shooting it too. I attended a gun class a very long time ago.

The gun instructor had a .357 Magnum with a scope on it. When it was my turn to shoot the .357 Magnum with a scope on it, I hit the target dead center every time I pulled the trigger.

The paper target was 75 yards away from the group. I hit it dead center every time.

The gun instructor asked me if I had ever shot a .357 gun before, and I answered his question with a no. He was an old-time gun instructor. He looked down on my face as he stated, “I have never seen anyone hit the target every time, but especially on his first time of shooting a .357 Magnum.”

He handed me the paper target which I still have in a safe.

Since then, I have talked to many military snipers, and they have told me that I would have been a good sniper. I have also talked to military guys who stated to me that not everyone can shoot a gun.

Some teenagers are good at pointing and pulling the trigger on their gaming guns, killing the creatures that are their enemies or opponents.

I knew a United States Marine who was a good gamer before he entered the Marines. He became a really good shooter and killer for the Marines. He had been shot four times by other people who were trying to kill him. He lived every time.

He returned to America to become a cop in a town with a high crime environment, probably with a lot of teenagers who are still highly violent criminals in the drug trade.

In the town that I currently live in, I once had five teenagers trying to pick a fight with me on the sidewalk in front of my house while I was dealing with stage 4 CLL cancer.

When I called the cops, they did not care about these violent criminally minded teenagers who were trying to pick a fight with a senior citizen with stage 4 cancer.

Nobody cared about the violent teenagers in the teeny, tiny town I currently live in. I bet that nobody in the middle and large towns and cities do not care about violent criminal teenagers either, especially the parents.

The dad bought an AR-15 for his son who killed 4 people, both who will probably spend the rest of their lives in a prison cell thinking what the heck did they even own an AK-15 rifle.

The dad who might ask his son why he did it while they enjoy a prison meal of the same boring, bad food that is served to criminals in prison and jail.

The son might answer his dad with this response. "Well, Dad. You and Mom were so screwed up and you did not show one ounce of concern for me and my life, nor did you show me one ounce of love for me either. So, I decided to kill some people so you might notice me."

Did this dad think that he was made in the image and likeness of God, Spirit? If he ever visited a church at any time during his life?

Did this dad think that his son was made in the image and likeness of God, Spirit, from the day he was born until the day he died?

How about the mother who has a long criminal record as is reported in the news?

How about a bigger question?

Do all gun owners in America and throughout the world think that they too, are made in the image and likeness of God, Spirit, when they are holding and shooting a gun or a rifle?

But especially if they are Christians. Do you mean they read the Bible and go to Church every Sunday morning and then they go shooting a handgun or a rifle in the afternoon? You know, just for fun. Leave that Bible book on the kitchen table. Who needs it?

Does reading the Bible and going to a church make a person a Christian?

Does holding and shooting a handgun or rifle make a person a Christian?

Does reading the Bible and going to a church make a person man in the image and likeness of God, Spirit?

If Americas who are Christians believe that they are man made in the image and likeness of God, Spirit, because they read the Bible and go to a church, they do they think that they are man made in the image and likeness of God, Spirit whenever they hold a gun or rifle and pull the trigger?

Nope, they are not made in the image and likeness of God, Spirit.

What about those other human beings overseas who hold a gun and pull the trigger of a gun or rifle to kill and murder, or slaughter other human beings?

Are they made in the image and likeness of God, Spirit whenever they hold the gun and pull the trigger to kill, or murder another human being?

If the Americans who hold a gun or rifle and pull that trigger of a gun or rifle are the same basic human beings who are also holding a gun and pulling the trigger overseas, like those extreme radical Islamic terrorists who are also biological human beings who believe that they too, are man made in the image and likeness of their teeny, tiny, imaginary delusional god within their minds, then the whole human species is in very deep trouble.

Holding and shooting handguns and rifles is not going to help the current and future survival of the human species.

Isn’t it amazing that people love violent movies? We all love the good guy beating and winning over the bad guy. Isn’t it true?

The individual and collective American mind to a certain extent loves guns, violence, and even hunting again, to a certain extent.

Moreover, I think that many people identify themselves by being gun owners just like they like to identify their human self with what type of car or truck they drive, just like they like to identify themselves as a Republican or a Democrat. It is part of being a human being, a grown-up human being.

Young people and teenagers are not adults. The young and adult human brain and mind is not the adult human brain and mind. It is really that simple.

Many children grow up fast and they realize many things about life and death. Other children never grow up and they never realize many things about life and death, until it is too late.

Most children and teenagers do not need, nor should they ever have own and use guns and rifles, unless is some cases like children and teenagers who live in the country and in the farms where the life of children, teenagers, and adults alike live a completely different lifestyle from the children, teenagers, and adults who live in the town and cities in America.

On the other hand, the children, teenagers, and adults who live in the towns, cities, and areas in America have also experienced different types of life, violence, and the usage of weapons like guns and rifles in different ways than the people who live in the faraway countryside and farmlands of America.

Nor should they be allowed access to a gun

Here is the main question or issue in my mind regarding guns, violence, and mass murders in America and the world in general, but in schools specifically.

Outwardly, or life in the objective world in America, it is what it is! At the moment anyway.

There is the Bible with the words within a biblical commandment, “Do not kill.”

Yet, it still happens. People kill other people every day in America and around the globe.

There are laws against committing murder and killing in America.

Yet, it still happens. People kill and murder other people every day in America and around the globe.

There is the common-sense notion and idea, the normal concept of not killing and murdering other people on planet Earth because, unlike in another place in the cosmic universe where other types of creatures might not believe nor kill and murder other creatures within their species, human beings still have a biological hardwired human brain and a soft-wired human mind and consciousness.

In the external or objective world, there are the normal images of people of any age, skin color, male or female, whose hardwired human brains and soft-wired human minds and different states of consciousness commit acts of killings, murders, and of course, other acts of violence.

In the town I currently live in, I have personally experienced male teenagers commit multi-types of violence and crimes against me. I realized that their parent’s brains and minds are very low on the scale of human intelligence, integrity, and education.

But the same goes for every town in America and the world.

There are 7-8 billion hardwired human brains and very different types of soft-wired human minds and states of consciousness that are walking and living on planet Earth.

All of them better learn to behave, to not be violent, nor to commit criminal acts towards other human beings. That would be a step in loving your neighbor as yourself, ... another biblical commandment.

Including the dangerous human beings, teenagers and adults alike, whose hardwired human brains and soft-wired human minds and consciousness are for short term, are mentally deranged for many different reasons and causes.

Depending on where a person lives, even within America, there are going to be different types of family, economic, social, political, and cultural aspects that will cause an individual human being to become so deranged that they flip a neural switch within their hardwired human brain and mentally decide to take the steps of preparing, planning, and then trying to commit the insane and crazy violent act of killing and murdering helpless, defenseless, and innocent children and adults.

In other parts of the world, they might be called terrorists. It is about time the word terrorists is applied to violent teenagers and adults alike in America too, not just the word criminal.

To call it evil is true. That should be no mistake. Killing and murdering innocent, defenseless, and helpless children, teenagers, and adults anywhere in the world for whatever reason is an evil act no matter what excuse is used for its justification.

Maybe it is because they have watched too much violent television, too many violent movies, too many violent news broadcasts of actual images of war, played too many violent video games, etc.

Probably too many drugs are involved to create mentally psychologically criminally violently deranged human beings.

The truth is that most violent teenagers are simply punks who are afraid of their shadows. Once, not too long ago, I was walking out of a major chain store with two bags in my hands.

As soon as I left the front doors, I turned my head around for some reason, as luck or a blessing would have it, and there were three teenage males with their hands made into fists.

In less than a second, I had flipped my whole body around to face them head-on and looked them dead in the eyes of the first male teenager with my two bags in my hand.

I stopped dead in my tracks and waited for the front guy to do something stupid. Thankfully, he and his two buddies walked around me with their hands still made into fists.

I have had that happen to me in the very teeny, tiny, nothing town I currently live in. Thin, under fed pothead teenagers trying to pick a fight with me, a grown man. Their parents never taught them any values, morals, ethics, or probably anything whatsoever, just their school system.

I have watched violent television, violent movies, and violent news broadcasts of images of war and violence, just like most people. Yet, most people like me do not go out of their homes and commit violent acts against helpless, innocent, and defenseless people.

To commit such violent actions would reflect very poorly on what was going on inside of my human brain and mind. But that does not mean many people’s hardwired human brains and soft-wired human minds are normal.

On the contrary, the hardwired brain and soft-wired human mind and consciousness are very complex entities.

That is the reason why many people want to be able to own and carry a pistol or handgun for self-protection or have one in their homes.

Would any human being blame God, Spirit, for such a crazy, insane, and mentally deranged human hardwired brain and soft-wired human mind and consciousness that exists in human society today?

Of course, they would not blame God, Spirit. Because God, Spirit is a pure realm of spiritual consciousness and not a one-dimensional biological state of existence and consciousness that can be killed, murdered, and slaughtered with a handgun or a rifle, like an AR-15.

May all of those children and teachers rest in peace!

May their killers go straight to hell!
